From Harrisburg, PA on April 10, 2019

What did you like most about using MDsave?

Help in finding a physician we could afford, far from home.

What could we do to improve?

I was very fortunate to end up with the provider I used, but the procedure filter was too restrictive, having to know the exact procedure (i.e. fluoroscopic guided injection, not ultrasound guided). Perhaps categorization -- (injection, joint injection, guidance, flouroscopic guidance) or even pain management -- would've helped me find something closer to where we were. We were in Louisiana in an RV and hoped to find something in Texas on our way west in the RV, but ultrasound guided only gave us someone in Oklahoma or Arkansas. Later, after a lot of communication with them to approve this and get our records from home in PA, they told us it would be fluoroscopic. We went to buy the voucher and found dozens in Texas! By then I was not willing to start over. I loved how easy it was to get the voucher, hand it to them, and how expert the physician and his staff turned out to be. Feels like a lifesaver for me.
