MDsave and Your Insurance

If you have a high deductible health plan and are not on Medicare or Medicaid, your MDsave purchase may count towards your deductible. Your insurance company will decide if your purchased procedure is eligible.

How to Apply an MDsave Purchase Towards Your Deductible
  1. Buy Your Procedure on MDsave

You may contact your insurance company before checkout to see if your purchase will apply.

  2. Fill Out Your Claim Form

What you need from your provider:
You can request these at the time of service or contact your provider’s office after your procedure.

    • Diagnosis Code (ICD-10 Code)

    • Procedure Code (CPT Code)

    What you need from MDsave:

Once you have your procedure and diagnosis codes, contact an MDsave Care Specialist at (844) 256-7696 or using our , and our team will send your itemized statement to you, usually within one business day. The itemized statement is different from your MDsave Voucher.

    • Itemized Statement of Charges

Note: When you receive your itemized statement, you will see a bundling fee beneath your subtotal. Some insurance companies may not apply this amount to your deductible, even if they approve your procedures.

  3. Send Your Forms to Your Insurance Company

Once you have collected these forms, send them to your insurance company using the procedure outlined in your health plan. Your insurance company may also ask you to submit a health insurance claim form, either online or on paper.

If your insurance company approves, your purchase will count towards your deductible. The Tendo Marketplace fee, however, may not count towards your deductible. This fee covers our costs of contracting with all providers, our technology for bundling care, processing payments, and advertising.
