Intensive Outpatient Treatment (1 day)

It’s been very well established by studies conducted on recovering people that extending treatment as long as possible is directly connected with better long-term outcomes. The process of treatment, when done effectively, ingrains many new behaviors and responses in the person that they will use to navigate the stressors of life more effectively.   Present Moments Recovery personalizes each outpatient drug rehab treatment plan to the individual in our San Diego outpatient program. Treatment coordination and assistance with skill building, referrals for educational and occupational services, and continued sober living housing are a major part of our all-inclusive program.   If the individual transitions back into their career or if they are returning home without ongoing support, it is usually a matter of time before they relapse because of returning to familiar patterns and responses. Extending sobriety after rehab through participation in an outpatient program makes it possible for the newly sober individual to continue having supervision, support, social integration and a smooth reintegration into society.   Our San Diego outpatient programs (PHP, IOP, OP, and alumni support) are an extension of our residential program. Our entire continuum is CARF accredited for excellence. Clients continue to be supported by the same clinical and holistic team that they have grown comfortable with, removing the need to get to know a new therapist and keeping their feelings of safety and security intact.   In the outpatient programs, clients will dig deeper into their presenting problems, delving into the complex layers and underlying conditions of their substance use disorder. In addition to the education and clinical support, clients will receive a safe outlet to process real life occurrences, identify triggers in their daily routines, and learn coping skills to deal with 'life on life’s' terms.
