He graduated from Alfateh Medical School, Tripoli and completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Gastroenterology at Norwalk Hospital, CT – Yale University. His expertise is in the area of prevention of colorectal cancer, management of esophageal disease, viral hepatitis, chronic liver disease, treatment of gastrointestinal emergencies and endoscopy.
