Infirmary Health’s Imaging and Diagnostic services are designed to allow for the prevention or quick diagnosis of diseases or disorders so that you can return to normalcy and health as soon as possible. Our services are broken up into imaging and testing.
Imaging
The imaging services that Infirmary Health’s radiology department provides are intended to allow physicians to see and respond to abnormalities quickly and effectively.
Our radiology imaging services include:
PET/CT imaging
CT imaging
Low-Dose CT lung cancer scans
Digital mammography
Digital X-Ray
Cardiac nuclear imaging
General ultrasound
Echocardiography
Vascular ultrasound
Each of these tests are designed to catch and allow treatment for disorders early and have been used especially to early diagnose most common forms of cancer. While the PET/CT scans examine the chemistry of the body to reveal tumors and growths, ultrasounds and X-rays use more traditional technology to peer inside the body to determine any issue that may be causing discomfort.
