Procedure Details

This includes a back surgery (laminectomy, laminotomy, or discectomy) with complications or comorbidities (CC). Lumbar laminectomy is the removal of lamina. A discectomy is the removal of a herniated disc. Please note that if imaging is performed during the surgery, you may recieve a bill from the radiologist.

Your purchase includes the following services:

  • Facility fee

    operating and recovery room services & supplies for a normal inpatient stay (average 4 to 5 days) which will be determined by your physician at Masters Spine Institute, LLC

  • Physician fee

    treatment and procedure-related postoperative follow-up visit(s) within 90 days of surgery. Does NOT include the initial evaluation to determine the need of the procedure.

  • Anesthesiologist fee

    regional or general anesthesia for the entire duration of the procedure

  • Pathology fee

    DOES NOT INCLUDE A PATHOLOGY FEE. The patient may receive a bill for this portion.

  • Hospitalist fee

    DOES NOT INCLUDE THE HOSPITALIST FEE. Hospitals often contract with hospitalist groups who provide care to patients if the primary care physician becomes unavailable. If your situation requires hospitalist services, you will receive a bill from the hospitalist group.

  • MDsave fee

    Covers the cost of contracting upfront rates with all involved medical providers, processing payment, and distributing funds, minimizing administrative overhead and allowing for a lower total price
