Dr. Rich Hillesheim completed his undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He went on to earn his medical degree, graduating cum laude at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honors society. He then completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis, TN, one of the oldest orthopedic training programs in the country. Dr. Hillesheim then obtained sub-specialty fellowship training in Hand, Upper Extremity, and Microvascular Surgery at the renowned Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center in Indianapolis, IN.
Originally from Chicago, IL, Dr. Hillesheim is excited to make the Tri-Cities area his home and serve those with acute or chronic orthopedic, hand, and upper extremity problems affecting their quality of life. He lives with his wife and son in Sullivan County. Outside of work, he enjoys all outdoor and water activities, including biking and volleyball. Dr. Hillesheim also enjoys reading, playing the guitar, traveling, and attending concerts.
