Procedure Details
This includes a fissurectomy with or without a sphincterotomy. A fissurectomy is the removal of a fissure, a break or tear in the skin of the anal canal.

- Physician feetreatment and procedure-related postoperative follow-up visit(s) within 90 days of surgery. Does NOT include the initial evaluation to determine the need of the procedure.
- Anesthesiologist feeregional or general anesthesia for the entire duration of the procedure
- Pathology feephysician interpretation fee. This DOES NOT include the technical fee and patient's will receive a bill from Quest Diagnostics.
