Knee Arthroscopy with Meniscal Transplantation or Drilling

After completing a master’s degree at University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Dr. Joseph Hurst began his professional career as a physician assistant with Lakeshore Bone and Joint Institute in Chesterton, Indiana. He then received his medical degree from Midwestern-Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois, and completed his orthopaedic residency through East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine.   Dr. Hurst was an active leader in student organizations throughout his academic career. Since completing medical school, he has served on several committees through Holston Valley Medical Center and the Tennessee Osteopathic Medical Education Consortium. Dr. Hurst is dedicated to improving the lives of many youth in the area through sports medicine and has served as a volunteer coach for football, baseball, and wrestling. During his free time, Dr. Hurst enjoys time with family, exercise, and music.
