Dr. Joey Carter is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. Dr. Carter received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, MS., where he also completed his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery. Dr. Carter is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the Alabama Orthopaedic Society. Prior to becoming an orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Carter was a trained veterinarian. Dr. Carter has practiced in Baldwin County for more than 20 years.
