Performing total joint replacements and general orthopaedics, Dr. Pigg is particularly experienced with hip and knee replacement. He also performs hand procedures and arthroscopic knee procedures. The Topeka native spent a year in Fort Worth working with Habitat for Humanity after earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas. He then returned to school and received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City. Dr. Pigg completed his orthopaedic residency in Wichita. Board-certified in orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Pigg is specially trained in robotic-arm assisted joint replacement. He has also conducted research on the use of calcium phosphate cement in screw holes after plate removal.
