Dr. Hoyt is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Urology and the Missouri State Board of Healing Arts. During his distinguished practice in Columbia, Dr. Hoyt served as Chief of Urology at the VA Hospital, and as an Associate Professor of Clinical Urology. He is the Past President of the Missouri Urologic Association, and a member of the following: American Urological Association, South Central Section of the AUA, American College of Surgeon and still an active member of the Missouri Urologic Association

Dr. Hoyt is a highly respected physician. He has received the Dr. Ian Thompson Award (Outstanding Student in Urology) in 2004, and was also selected by medical school class as student speaker at Graduation in 2004. Along with two publications, he has spoken in many presentations.
