Our work is nationally accredited by the College of American pathologists (CAP) and this gives you added assurance that our medical laboratory is following the strictest standards for quality, accuracy, technical process and safety. We’re also proud to note that we are the only hospital in Southeastern New Mexico that has received CAP accreditation. Our team of professional, technical and support staff produce work under the medical direction of a board certified pathologist(s) at Artesia medical laboratory to produce over 90,000 laboratory results each year. Our laboratory staff includes Registered Medical Technologists and Registered Medical Laboratory Technicians. Artesia General Hospital is committed to providing accurate inpatient and outpatient test results as quickly as possible. Our lab is equipped with the latest instrumentation enabling our skilled team to effectively perform your testing and provide your physician with timely results.
