Dr. Jay Savage is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon. Dr. Savage received his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he also completed his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery. Dr. Savage completed a fellowship in sports medicine with Santa Monica Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine in California. He is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the Alabama Orthopaedic Society, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Savage is the team physician for the Bayside Academy Admirals and has also served as the assistant team physician for the LA Galaxy and Pepperdine University.
