The Federal Drug Administration (FDA) accredits our Mammography facility. The physicians of Summit Radiology are committed to providing our patients with the highest quality diagnostic imaging. Our radiologists have additional fellowship training in interventional radiology, mammography, neuro-radiology, nuclear medicine, and magnetic resonance imaging. Summit Radiology provides coverage 24/7.

Location

The Radiology Department is located on the first floor of the hospital located at 1100 Mercer Avenue. We are staffed 24 hours a day by skilled technologists who are registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and certified by the state of Indiana.

Berne Convenience Clinic

Radiology services are also available at the Berne Convenience Clinic Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM. To reach the Berne Outpatient Clinic for questions regarding lab or radiology services please call 260-589-8811.

Information

Our radiology department has installed state of the art Digital Radiology equipment that is capable of immediate acquisition of all images taken, meaning that the images are immediately available for viewing on a computer screen. This eliminates the need for x-ray film. Your physician can immediately access your images through our specialized Radiology Web Browser. In the event that you would need to take images to an outside provider, we can provide these to you through films or cd. By providing our patients with a fully digital department, we have significantly improved our customer service. We have decreased wait times as a result of more efficient workflow, and more importantly, because of these new efficiencies, we have more time to directly address the needs of you, the patient. A digital image is produced in 7 seconds. Each imaging modality offered at Adams Memorial Hospital is state of the art. From the high-field MRI scanner, to the rapid speed multi-slice CT scanner, the advanced ultrasound unit, comprehensive nuclear medicine camera, digital fluoroscopy unit Dexa bone density, to the most modern high-tech digital mammography machine marketed, you will find it in our department.
