About MD Sam Carvajal
Dr. Carvajal has been a board-certified general and vascular surgeon for more than 25 years. He specializes in minimally invasive surgeries of the breast, primarily lumpectomies and mastectomies.
When appropriate, he performs minimally invasive procedures because they typically result in less pain, smaller incision, shorter hospital stay and faster recovery.
In addition to medical school, Dr. Carvajal also completed seven years of postdoctoral training in advanced surgical techniques. Today, he is a physician liaison for the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Carvajal is fluent in both English and Spanish.
