Results of lab tests often identify disease in early stages, when possibilities of a cure are greatest and treatment is least costly.   Newman Memorial Hospital laboratory performs testing for hospital patients and outpatients. The laboratory is fully staffed with a team of professionals performing tests in chemistry, immunology, toxicology, hematology, microbiology, transfusion services, and point-of-care testing. The team of laboratory professionals performs testing services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.   Our analytical capability is supported by a laboratory computer system interfaced with instruments and integrated with the hospital information system with order entry inquiry and remote reporting of results.   No appointment necessary for labs Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 2:30pm.
