Visit WebsiteOriginally from Dayton, Ohio, Dr. Mark McQuain graduated from Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1986. He completed his internship at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, followed by a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. McQuain is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is a member of the Tennessee Medical Association and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
As a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation, Dr. McQuain focuses on restoring function for patients with disabilities as a result of disease, disorder, or injury. He cares for patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal problems like back and neck pain using an integrated, multidisciplinary treatment aimed at recovery.
Dr. McQuain has practiced at Watauga Orthopaedics since 1996. He resides in Johnson City with his wife, Dee. They have three adult children. In his spare time, he enjoys programming computers and reading Christian apologetics and bioethics.
