Diana has been a Nurse Practitioner since 1994 She was a Registered Nurse for over twenty years when she became interested in becoming a Nurse Practitioner. A college friend was finishing up her education to be an APRN and Diana spent time mentoring her and decided she would enjoy a new challenge as well. Diana enjoys being able to treat the whole person, focusing on the spiritual and as well as medical in her practice. Sometimes the patient’s physical symptoms are caused by something going on at home and understanding the complete picture is part of healing her patients. Diana’s training as an RN taught her compassion when dealing with her patients that range in age from twelve to ninety-nine! She loves that her patients often brighten her day as much as she helps them. She treats common medical problems in collaboration with a medical doctor. She specializes in chronic disease and especially diabetes care. Diana enjoys teaching her patients new ways to improve the quality of their lives once they head home. Often financial, transportation and other service challenges can be addressed in her office by introducing the patient to new resources they might not know about.
