With over 20 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a distinctive military background, Dr. Pruitt’s approach to women’s healthcare is a unique combination of deep compassion and highly skilled efficiency.  He is detailed oriented, considers any questions and concerns closely and enthusiastically develops a personalized plan of care.  The friendly rapport he shares with his patients is evidence of the deep commitment he has to helping others. Dr. Pruitt is a Graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine at UAB and is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.  He is also a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and has been actively involved with the hospital serving on the Medical Executive, Patient Care and the Ethics and Cancer Committees. A Hoover resident, Dr. Pruitt is a devoted husband and father of four who takes great pride in his family.  He is an avid reader and a lifetime student of literature.  Dr. Pruitt is now accepting new patients.
