The Adventist Health Portland laboratory adheres to strict internal quality control standards for equipment and testing procedures. In addition, all abnormal or atypical blood cytology samples are personally reviewed by a pathologist. When clinically significant, the findings are expeditiously discussed with the attending physician.   The Adventist Health Portland lab is certified by Medicare and Medicaid and is licensed by the state of Oregon as an independent clinical laboratory.
